The 4th is always really busy for us. From sun up till long after sun down! We always start with a flag raising and cinnamon roll breakfast at the church. Some reason I never take pictures of this. But we love it and do it every year! Then we go to the parade. This year I marched in the kids parade with my "Tiny Dancers" in the children's parade. Lucia made this fun banner for our wagon, Brock pulled the wagon with the music playing in it so we could march and do our hand routine I had made up for them. They did a great job! It was a lot of fun... well until one of them got lost. But that is a whole other story, I was sooooo glad her mom was one of the moms marching with us and all ended well.
My girls waiting for the parade to start. This was the ONLY picture I took during the parade because I was still worried about the lost girl (who was actually found I just didn't know it!)
I didn't take ANY picture during our BBQ but I took this super cute one of Ruth today and it pretty much is the same face she had yesterday and she is eating one of the yummy treats left over. So just imagine our back yard, plus 55 people, lots of kids, splashing in the pool, lots of food, loud yelling and fun! Now you got it!Here are a few of the pictures of the fireworks. We were down to 27 people then. It was so much fun watching the kids. Our neighbor lit one of those screaming fire works and proclaimed that he LOVED that kind. I quickly told Mike, "Hey my kids can make that sound for FREE" on cue all 15 kids that were there screamed and it sounded JUST like the firework. It was so funny! Mike laughed as well as all the other adults. What a great day to be a live what a great day to live in the USA! God bless America!!!
