Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentines Day! Sorry the picture is side ways but I forgot I couldn't chage it once I got them on the blog! But I thought I might just show one of my Valentine traditions! I always make cut out cookies for my family and put thier names on them (I make special ones for Larry but I didn't think it was appropeate to show them on line). Or other traditions include pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, and red dinner. I make all red foods for dinner! Tonight it is spagetti, french bread (with red colored butter to turn it pink!) red jello, red drink, and probably beets for a vegtable (yes my kids will eat beats!) Not fancy but fun!
This morning my boys did a Valentine suprise for me! They made a heart out of thier train tracks! Very cute!

Wish I could have one of those they look delicious. Thanks for the comment on the blog, I agree their are hard parts that we have to look at, but I guess trying to find the good is the lesson that we all need to learn. Find your strengths and give yourself credit for those, I know there are tons in you.

Now you have my curiosity peaked. What do you do for Larry? I love your traditions.

I love that idea - but since it requires baking, I'm less inclined to take it up. The "special" cookies for Larry cracks me up :)

Larry gets cookies to his say other things on them that I didn't think should be shared with everyone. They are a little dirty.

I just don't know where you get ideas like that! I would never make "suggestive" cookies for Dad!

I kind of find that hard to believe that My mom wouldn't make suggestive cookies for my dad since they write suggestive things on thier gift tags at Christmas to each other!!!

You inspire me! I wish I was as good at that kind of thing... maybe I'll be better in the future. Your kids are blessed with a great Mom who is giving them so many wonderful traditions and memories they'll cherish forever of their childhoods.
